I am feeling sad for those who are struggling this year and am feeling bad for the children who may not get Christmas because no kid should have to go without Christmas presents. My suggestions to parents who are having it rough buying presents try to get  something for your kids this year because kids don't understand about parents having financial trouble and if they are small, really small they most likely believe in santa claus and will wonder why he hadn't come this year. The cost of the gifts don't have to be much my suggestions shop at the dollar store or dollar tree because something is better than nothing, if they complain about what they get remind them that it is not the size of the gift that matters it is the thought that counts. And If you absolutely can't buy anything for them, then make something  like a special card to each child telling them that you love them, or make a batch of cookies, or both then spend quality time with each of them doing something fun such as watching a movie together or playing board games, whatever your family likes to do together and so on, by doing these things and keeping a good attitude about Christmas,Christmas will be far less stressful and even joyful. Such as things man did not create and cannot take away from you, it's the  clear skies, the birds singing, beautiful butterflies and the waterfalls raining, it's the rainbow of flowers with the sunlight that shines down upon them, it's the laughter  coming from little  children for they do not think  badly about tommarow. Hi welcome to anyone who stumbled across aidpage, I am new here myself and have adopted aidpage as my home. I love the idea of people helping people ,if anything, I believe, everyone who visits here will get some advice and maybe even some emotional support because we all share a common bond. So I am here to tell you that you are not alone "as it is obvious" and that  we can lean on each other during tough times maybe think up permanent solutions to our problems so that we don't have do to repeat the same thing over and over again. I agree, it is time for us to become more independant for ourselves. Stop depending on others to give us a job, lets make our own jobs,  like when we were little and wanted to make some money we would  put up a lemonade stand and at the end of the day counting change we hoped that  we had enough to buy ourselves that candybar we wanted but now thinking bigger as mature adults we must think of having our own  business that  puts us in charge of our futures. We can work a little or we can work a lot and  the good news it is our choice not anyones elses and by  making these changes puts us in charge of our future. So how about it folks lets put these words into practice and start our own  lemonade stands in our own ways. I hope this word is an encouragement. Look for free items in your local paper, or on craigslist new jersey area for free baby items as well as go to freecycle.org  you could also  look in the phone book  to women and babies organizations there may be some  in the  blue pages.

try LIHEAP for the electric they will cover a good chunk or maybe all of the bill. Then get yourself on a monthly program through the cap office your local area the program is called on-track. Good luck and God Bless you.

Hello, here are some suggestions to paying it forward it that I find  very rewarding giving to a complete stranger with a message of love made up in a small gift basket or give to  someone you know who looks like that could use a small pick me up, the amount of money spent  doesn't have to be much $10.00 is sufficient and it would buy  (at  the dollar store)  a small gift basket or gift bag  full of goodies, add to them sauve shampoo, conditioner,a body lotion and some body wash, and  there still will be enough money so that you can buy a card.
